“It’s the same teflon-treated surgical barrier cloth material that’s in my N100 certified surgical scrubs.”
–Dr. Ricardo Lopéz, Seguro Popular / O’Horan Hospital Mérida Yucatán
Our medical-grade masks use a N99 – N100 quality surgical barrier cloth produced in Mexico that meets 11 ASTM* Standards and 6 AATCC** Standards.
This cloth provides ultra-high filtering efficiency against airborne viruses. It uses the latest high-tech anti-fluid fluoropolymer (teflon) treatment to contain coughs, sneezes, sputum, etc., and keep viruses out.
Our manufacturer here in Mexico is in process of obtaining the official N100 certifications that are used by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in the USA. In the meantime, please know that experienced surgeons who are using our masks and have performed aerosol tests agree that the cloth is the same teflon-treated surgical barrier cloth material that is used in their N100 certified surgical scrubs.
